So Sad

Little Rosie is 18 months old and is in search of a 'forever home'. She was breed by a backyard breeder, who kept who caged in the garage her whole life. She had no love or exercise. At 18 months, when it became apparent this tiny teacup poodle was too small to breed from, the breeder no longer wanted her.
A lady named Margaret, who is a poodle breeder living in Blenheim, heard about this wee dog and went about rescuing her so she could rehome her in a loving forever home.
When this wee dog (named Coco) arrived in Blenheim, Margaret discovered she couldn't  even hold her because it hurt Coco's legs - her leg joints would crunch (as a result of spending her life in a cage). She was flea ridden, with dirty, matted fur.
After an examination by a local vet, it was decided Coco would need an (or some) operation/s to heal her legs. However the vet will wait a month before going ahead. Maybe her legs will strengthen during that time?
Coco has since been renamed (by Margaret) because she refused to respond to Coco. She's now called Ruby Rose. Margaret says, she is slowly gaining trust but will still run off to hide at any sudden movement or noise.
